      What is VTRA?

      VTRA stands for Violence Threat Risk Assessment

      VTRA is an acronym for Violence Threat Risk Assessment. VTRA is a CTIP-created model that entails a multi-agency process for enhancing community-based teams to assess the actual dynamics of violence by teaching data collection, behavioral analysis and the requirements for case-specific interventions.

      The primary purpose of the VTRA training is to teach participants the multi-disciplinary process of determining if a threat-maker actually poses a risk to themselves or others.
